Mouse buttons

Unless stated otherwise, instructions for a mouse apply to right-handed users and the left mouse button. If you must distinguish between the buttons on a mouse, use left mouse button, middle mouse button, and right mouse button.

Use the verbs click, double-click, and right-click to refer to mouse actions. Do not use the preposition on with mouse actions.
