Customizing Switchboards

Access builds a switchboard form for every database you create with a database wizard, but the default configuration may not be quite what you're looking for. If you add forms or other database objects to your database, for instance, you must also add controls to your switchboard to open or redesign those objects. However, you'll be able to open those objects from the main database window as well.

You can also modify your switchboard to change the order of controls on a switchboard page or to create brand new pages. The tool you use to customize your switchboard is the Switchboard Manager, which makes changing your switchboards simple.
