About the Contributing Authors

Mark Rittman is Director of Consulting at SolStonePlus, an Oracle Partner based in the UK, who specializes in business intelligence and data warehousing. Mark is the Chair of the UKOUG Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools SIG, writes a weblog at http://www.rittman.net, and speaks on Oracle Discoverer at events in the UK, Europe, and the USA.

Chris DeYoung has spent six years teaching Discoverer and the Oracle Application Server for Oracle University. He has served as lead instructor for the Discoverer product and has seen the product mature from version 3 all the way through the current version 10g. He has a masters degree in Instructional technologies and is a certified Oracle Developer. After working with literally hundreds of different Discoverer customers, he has a very rich perspective on how Discoverer can be used to its fullest potential.
