Chapter 8. Turning a Discoverer Query into a Report

It may seem premature at this point to show you how to create a report. However, we feel that once you have a working query, you should know how to turn it into a report. In the coming chapters, you will learn more advanced Discoverer techniques on building bigger and better queries. As you do, the lessons you learn here will enable you to create reports based upon those queries.

A Discoverer report is simply a well-formatted query. There is no wizard to guide you, or button to click, that will magically turn your query into a stunning printable report. You have a bit of work to do, but we think it is fun to format reports!
