  1. Select File → Open. Select the Dolphins data table.

This data table (Figure 5.1) is different from those we've seen before. The rows here actually represent the behavior of 189 dolphins, but consolidate observations of the same time and behavior into a single row. The column Groups shows the joint frequency of each pair of time and behavior events. For instance, throughout the entire observation period, Dr. Rasmussen observed six dolphins traveling in the morning, and 28 feeding in the morning.
