DB2 implementation is not quite as simple as installing DB2 alone. Your organization must budget for not just DB2 but also DB2, QMF, and tools from the categories deemed most important by your organization. As time goes on and DB2 use grows, your organization should plan to acquire more tools. Budgeting for DB2 tools should be an annual process.
