Data Access and Security

In Chapter 5, we discussed the data access and security scheme. A well-designed system gives users access to the data they need to see when they need to see it, and provides the minimum level of access (Read-Only, Edit, Delete) required to complete their work.

Access Controls

CRM On Demand provides several means of controlling access. Data access and security is configured through a combination of settings at the Company, Role, and User level. Achieving the security scheme that is right for your company may involve a combination of these settings.
