Chapter 2. Panels > 2.2 Residual Panel

2.2 Residual Panel

This example uses PROC GLM to fit a linear model and then uses PROC TEMPLATE, the GTL, and PROC SGRENDER to display the residuals as a function of each of the predictor variables. This example introduces the CELL, ENDCELL, CELLHEADER, ENDCELLHEADER, SIDEBAR, and ENDSIDEBAR statements and shows you how to construct common axes and axis labels. The following step fits a linear model with PROC GLM and creates an output data set called Res that contains all of the analysis variables along with a new variable, r, which contains the residuals:

proc glm data=sashelp.class;
   class sex;
   model weight = height age sex;
   output out=res r=r;
run;
