I really opened this book to be able to deeply study the more advanced aspects of XML "XSLT".
While the examples provided MAY be good, there is really no way to try them unless you use the tools the author uses and that's it.
As I do not have a solid understanding of the subject I want to learn about, (oh yeah that is why I'm reading it. Maybe the author should have thought of that), I need more than one methodology of how to apply the information the author provides.
As a programmer it would be helpful if I had examples I could use when programming. Not examples used in a special tool made to test XML Translations.
I gave the book one star because the introductory information of XML overall was correct. The multiple authors on the book cover mis-led me into believing the coverage would be deep. I will not consider this publisher again.
