Searching with Bing

While you can use motions to conduct a Bing search, doing so is an even slower and more laborious process than the already slow and tedious Xbox controller. Luckily, Kinect has an ace in the hole with its microphone, which you can use to conduct a Bing search even faster than with a keyboard. Simply say “Xbox,” and once the speech bar appears, say “Bing” and a simple search term or terms.

For example, to search for Gears of War 3-related items, simply say, “Xbox,” wait for the speech bar to appear, then say, “Bing Gears of War 3.” After a short wait, items related to Gears of War 3 appear.
