Transferring Content Licenses to a New Console
If you have an older Xbox 360 to which you downloaded content and want to move that content to your new console, you can use the license transfer tool at www.xbox.com/en-US/Support/LicenseMigration/Home. You can use this tool once every 121 days. After you follow the instructions on the website, follow these steps to download the licenses to your new Xbox 360 to complete the process:
1. Turn on your new Xbox 360.
2. Sign in to Xbox LIVE with the gamer profile used to download the content to the old console.
3. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller to open the Xbox Guide.
4. Go to Settings and select Account Management.
5. Select License Transfer.
6. At the License Transfer screen, select A to continue with the transfer. If you want more information first, select Y. To abort the process, select B to go back.
