5. Playing on the Games Channel > Checking Out My Games
Checking Out My Games
You can find all videogames and videogame demos and trials that you download from Xbox LIVE in your game library, which is known as My Games, located under the Games channel.
My Games defaults to show all your downloaded games. You can filter this view by selecting Show, which lets you sort games into more specific categories, including Demos, Arcade, Indie, Kinect, Recently Played, and Recently Downloaded. If you score Gamer Points in any game, it indicates how many you have out of the total number available for that particular game when it’s shown in the list.
On Xbox LIVE, every achievement has a predetermined number of Gamer Points. As you gather achievements and Gamer Points, your Gamerscore increases. The Gamerscore is your overall ranking, which you can easily use to see how you measure up against your friends. Most Xbox LIVE Arcade games enable up to 200 Gamer Points to be earned, whereas most full videogames enable up to 1,000; however, game add-ons can enable additional points to be earned. Unlike Microsoft Points, you cannot use Gamer Points to make any purchases, but they can give you bragging rights.
