Safari Books Online is a digital library providing on-demand subscription access to thousands of learning resources.
You don’t need to do anything special to play DVDs on your Xbox 360. Simply insert a DVD into the disc drive, and it should automatically start playing, unless you have auto-play disabled (refer to “Playing a Game Disc” in Chapter 4, “Getting to Know Your Xbox,” for more on auto-play).
If auto-play is disabled, go to the Home channel, and select Play DVD. Your DVD will now start playing.
If you stop a DVD and eject it before the feature ends, your Xbox 360 console remembers, or bookmarks, the point where you stopped. When you insert the DVD again, the DVD continues automatically from that point. If the DVD is bookmarked, it starts playing automatically where it was stopped the last time you viewed it.
