‘How to’ guide to

This appendix is a compact guide to the language which focuses on special aspects of the language that are relevant to this book. A review of packages useful in finance will be discussed in Appendix B. Along with these pages, the reader is also invited to read the quick guide called ‘An Introduction to ’ that comes with every installed version of or the introductory book on the environment by Dalgaard (2008).
