Although 360-degree feedback is used at all levels in today’s organizations, its most frequent use is with managerial populations, especially at the more senior levels. In our recent survey of human resource professionals, we learned that 60 percent use it for executive levels, 72 percent use it with senior managers, 71 percent use it with middle managers, and 31 percent use it with first-line managers. In addition, 41 percent said multi-rater feedback was used with individual contributors and 31 percent use it with administrative /support populations.
