About the Author Brenda Huettner is a writer, speaker, and consultant with over 20 years of experience in the technical publications field. She has written manuals, help systems, procedures, proposals, and training material for a variety of corporate clients, and has published several books on technical topics. She is a Fellow of the Society for Technical Communi- cation, a senior member of the Administrative Council of the IEEE Professional Communication Society, and a member of the Usability Professionals Association. A regular presenter at conferences across the country, Brenda speaks on documentation, management, and career issues.
