Voice Memos

The Voice Memos app is to speech as the Notes app is to writing. With this app you can quickly record a voice message and listen to it later or use it otherwise.

You can see that voice memos are a kind of microphone for recording your thoughts.

Recording a Voice Memo

You can start recording a new voice memo by pressing the Record button (1). The button then changes to a Pause icon. At the top in the center you can see from the red status bar how long the recording has been running for. To pause the recording, just press the Pause button (1). You can then add to the recording by pressing the Record button once again. To stop recording, press the Stop button (2). If you then start recording again, you are creating a new voice memo.
