Tapping an item on the screen is what you will probably do most often. A simple rule applies: Whenever you want to select, activate, or start something, just tap it once. This applies to starting an application as well as enabling checkboxes or activating and deactivating menu items. If you tap them, something will happen.
For example, if you want to enable Airplane Mode, simply tap the corresponding button. The button then moves to the right (or vice versa), and the function is enabled.
Slider bars such as Airplane Mode can also be dragged by sliding your finger to the right or left. But tapping works, too.
The arrow next to the item Wi-Fi indicates that another menu is available. Tap it to display the menu.
