Rating Apps

The App Store also lives from its ratings. The developers are of course always praising their apps highly. But whether the program can really cut it in everyday use is generally revealed only by the ratings. Would you like to help other potential buyers by telling them whether the program does what it promises? Then test the app and write a review.

A high number of reviews gives you an impression of what the app is like before you purchase it.

To rate an app, tap the number of ratings in the description of the app. In the next step, tap “Write a review.”

“Write a review” takes you to the input field for the review.

Enter the Apple ID under which you downloaded the app. Otherwise, you will get a message that you can only rate apps that you actually own. Then you can enter the rating in the next step.
