Contacts

When it comes to knowing who your contacts are, Siri provides a direct line into your iPhone address book. For example, it’s possible to look up phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays, and other data that you would normally find in the device’s Contacts list. You might ask

• What’s Victor’s address?

• What is Dave Caolo’s phone number?

• When is my wife’s birthday?

• Show Megan’s home email address.

Each query looks up a specific detail for a given contact. Figure 3-1 shows a typical request, asking for the phone number for John Appleseed. After Siri finds that contact for you, tap it to jump into the Address Book application to further view or edit that entry.
