Using the speaker phone

The Speaker Phone function is useful under certain situations, such as when you're in a room full of people who want to join in on your phone conversation. Or you might be all by your lonesome in your office but are stuck rooting through your files — hard to do with a BlackBerry scrunched up against your ear. (We call such moments multitasking — a concept so important we devote an entire upcoming section to it.)

To switch to the speaker phone while you're on a phone call, press the OP key or press the menu key and then select Activate Speaker Phone.
