Web surfing with a BlackBerry has improved dramatically with the newer models. With the introduction of the trackball, RIM added the ability for you to view Web pages in a desktop format. The caveat is that you have to scroll left to right to see the width of a page. For convenience, you could always go back to using the mobile format where everything fits top to bottom and no scrolling to the right is needed.
