1: Android Basics > THE APPLICATIONS LAUNCHER

THE APPLICATIONS LAUNCHER

You are likely to have more applications than can fit on your home screen, so Android provides the Applications Launcher to store the rest of them. On most phones, the launcher can be accessed by tapping the button found at the bottom of the screen, while Honeycomb on tablets places it in the top-right corner of the screen. The launcher automatically lists all of your installed applications alphabetically You can scroll through them by simply sliding your finger up on the screen. Touch an application to launch it.
