Composing an Email

Writing a new email message is fast and easy to do. Follow these steps to start composing a message:

1. Turn on and unlock your phone.
2. Tap an inbox (you choices will likely include Outlook, Hotmail, Google Mail, and/or Yahoo, among others, depending on the name of the account).
3. You should see a screen similar to the one shown in Figure 4–1. Press the new button.
4. A screen similar to the one shown in Figure 4–9 will appear. The first thing you need to do is enter the email address of the person you want to send it to. You can do this one of two ways. First, you can either tap the + button in the upper right to select a person from your contacts. Second, you can start typing that person's name (see Figure 4–10), and then choose from the drop-down list of possible matches your phone finds.
