The email functions on your phone can be customized by setting a few different options. The steps that follow walk you through and explain these options:
Turn on and unlock your phone.
Tap an inbox (you choices will likely include Outlook, Hotmail, Google Mail, and/or Yahoo, among others, depending on the name of the account).
You should see a screen similar to Figure 4–1. Press the ellipsis (...) button and choose settings (see Figure 4–16).

The Settings screen will appear (see Figure 4–17). From this screen, you can change your sync settings (as you'll see in the next step); always BCC yourself (which is useful if you want to save a copy of your sent messages and your mail server does not provide a copy of sent mail); and change or remove your email signature. To remove your signature, simply uncheck the Use an email signature box. To edit your signature, tap the box with your current signature and edit it to your liking.
