Downloading and Installing the Facebook Application

While Windows Phone 7 integrates a number of pieces of Facebook information into your phone, it doesn't capture everything. To get the full Facebook mobile experience, follow these steps to download the Facebook application from the Marketplace and get it up and running:

1. Turn on and unlock your phone.
2. Tap the Marketplace live tile on the Start screen (see Figure 5–1).

3. Press the search button on the front of your phone to bring up Marketplace Search. Type “Facebook” into the Search box and press the Next (?) icon on the keyboard.
4. Tap the Facebook application (see Figure 5–2).

5. Tap Install, allow, and then install to install the application.
