Journals Available via App

Many journals have tablet versions that are available for free, provided you are a subscriber to the print edition.

In the Apps category, you can find a lot of popular magazine apps by entering “magazines” in the search engine (see Figure 14–18).

As you can see in Figure 4–19, many applications are available for free. One of these magazines is Wired, a science and technology magazine available for subscription by touching the Free button, which takes you to a screen where you can formally subscribe (see Figure 4–20).

Once you have subscribed, you can access the application/magazine. But, there is an entirely different set of rules for navigation.
