Starting Your iDVD Project

Sharing from iMovie works fine if you have only one movie to place on a DVD, but what happens when you want to include multiple movies on a single disc? Magic iDVD is a quick way to create a DVD containing multiple movies and photo slideshows. You simply drag movies and sets of photos into the main iDVD screen, choose a theme, and click a button—at which point you’re ready to burn a DVD or further customize your disc.

The iDVD project you’re about to build uses completed versions of all the movies you created in iMovie from Lessons 8 through 13. If you skipped those lessons, don’t worry about it. We’ve included finished movies on the DVD packaged with this book.
