Safari Books Online is a digital library providing on-demand subscription access to thousands of learning resources.
If you’re truly determined to put your personal stamp on the Windows Home Server interface, the Appearance tab in the Display Properties dialog box is a great place to start. Follow these steps to work with this tab:
1. | Select Start, Control Panel, Display (or right-click the desktop and then click Properties). The Display Properties dialog box appears. |
2. | Display the Appearance tab, as shown in Figure 16.11. Figure 16.11. Use the Appearance tab to give the desktop and its objects a makeover.

3. | Use the Appearance tab controls (discussed in detail in the next few sections) to customize the Windows Home Server look. |
4. | Click OK. |
