Directions
Form small groups of six to eight people and give each group flip chart paper and a marker.
Tell participants that developing groups that work effectively together is similar to developing a sports team. For example, think about bringing together a group of people who are interested in playing softball. What do they have to do to create a successful ball team?
Instruct groups to choose a team sport they are familiar with and list the process they must go through to build a successful team. Tell them to list the steps for developing their team on the right side of a piece of flip chart paper.
