Lesson 15. Preparing Graphics for Web Publication

Lesson 15. Preparing Graphics for Web Publication

For example, flat-color artwork is typically exported to GIF or PNG-8 format, and continuous-tone artwork containing photos or gradients is typically exported to JPEG or PNG-24 format. When preparing images for Web distribution, the goal is to create the smallest possible file while maintaining the integrity of the artwork.
