Adobe Illustrator offers four brush types—Calligraphic, Scatter, Art, and Pattern brushes—to create art along paths. You can use the paintbrush tool or the drawing tools to apply brushes to artwork. Use the brushes provided, or create new ones from artwork you make in Illustrator.
