In this lesson, you will explore some of the special effects you can use in FreeHand to add realism and dimensionality to your objects. Some of the effects you will use in this lesson change the appearance of the object, but don’t actually modify it; if you are unhappy with the results after applying an effect, you can easily remove the effect, returning the object to its original state. You will also attach text to a path so that the text flows along the path, convert the text to a graphic, and then modify the character shapes of the text.
The magnifying glass is one object you will draw in this lesson. It contains a lens fill that you can set to magnify objects that appear under the lens.
