If you edit a brush, all objects on which that brush is in use will update to reflect your changes. If you want to edit a brush stroke on an individual object or objects without editing the brush itself, follow these instructions instead.

2. | If you want to recolor the brush stroke, choose a stroke color now. |
3. | Click the Options of Selected Object button |

6. | From the Colorization menu (not available for Calligraphic brushes), choose: None to leave the colors unchanged. Tints to change black areas in the brush stroke to the stroke color at 100% and non-black areas to tints of the current stroke color. White areas stay white. Tints and Shades to change colors in the brush stroke to tints of the current stroke color. Black and white stay the same. Hue Shift to apply the current stroke color to areas containing the most prominent color (the key color) and to change other colors in the brush stroke to related hues.
