Beware! If you edit a graphic style, the changes will update on all the objects the style is currently linked to. If you don’t want this to happen, duplicate the style first (see the instructions on the previous page), then edit the duplicate.
To edit a graphic style

2. | Via the Appearance panel, C We modified the settings for the Warp effect and changed the color for the Stroke and lower Fill attributes.

3. | Do either of the following: From the Appearance panel menu, choose Redefine Graphic Style “[style name].” Option-drag/Alt-drag the square from the uppermost left corner of the Appearance panel over the original swatch on the Graphic Styles panel. Regardless of which method you use, a progress bar may display temporarily, then the style swatch will update to reflect the modifications.A Any objects to which the style is linked will update automatically.B A The style updates on the Graphic Styles panel.
B The graphic style also updates automatically on any other objects that it’s linked to.
