“We are a very ‘technical’ space,” Baudiš described. “Most of our projects are related to electronics and computers—not so much going on with regard to ‘maker’ projects, art, or biohacking, but I hope this will change over time.”

Brmlab’s visual identity involves computer connectors and ports. “I think the main theme of our space is ‘connecting,’” Baudiš said. “We connect people together and connect them with awesome devices and knowledge. I like the hackerspace because it confirms my life’s belief—if you are enthusiastic about your idea and have no fear, you can get done even things that seem impossible at the beginning. Probably most of our projects started as ‘wow, sounds cool; let’s get hacking and see how difficult this is.’”
