You know Power Wheels, those ride-on electric cars that the cool kids drove around the neighborhood? A group of hackerspace members have begun refitting the toys with better batteries and more powerful motors, organizing races, and awarding trophies to the winners. These races, called the Power Racing Series, have been building buzz and participants since their debut in 2009.
