The Organizers - Pg. 144

Lynn Blodgett President & CEO, Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. THE SUCCESS of Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS), a Fortune 500 company, is due in large part to Blodgett. He knows the organization inside out, after spending more than a decade as part of the team that built it into one of America's top three business-process outsourcing and IT services companies. Regarded as a sales supremo in the industry, he has also earned world renown for his hobby: he travels the country photographing the homeless to heighten public awareness of their situation. BIOGRAPHY Born in Utah in 1955. One of nine children, Blodgett was brought up as a Mormon, and attended the Utah Technical College and Brigham Young University, Utah. He is a world- class photographer, and his first book, Finding Grace: The Face of America's Homeless, was published in 2007. He is also a master falconer. Jim provided the motivation, while Bill concentrated on the solutions before becoming COO and finally CEO in 2006. Blodgett's tenure as CEO of ACS has not been without its problems.
