The following questions cover each of the seven vital genes and provide a mirror for your management practices, reflecting the extent to which you exhibit WE leadership DNA. There are no right or wrong answers; leadership practices exist on a continuum, and each of us typically expresses more of one gene than another. The value in providing truthful answers is an accurate assessment, using the scoring key at the end of the test, of what you need to focus on most to evolve as a leader. The bottom line? If you want to change your organization, you’ll have to change yourself first.

Rather than being subject to positional power, they need to exercise individual discretion to connect to others.
