Champion:
Go-to person for the Knowledge Jam. Plays role of on-the-ground project manager, maintains client attention, manages logistics and communications. Most valuable when the facilitator is an outsider and there is a need for on-the-ground coordination. [Chapter 3 (“Facilitation”)]
Collaboration:
Co-creation of a knowledge-product, with or without collaboration technology, such as SharePoint, Lotus Notes, or social media. Collaboration is a behavior that can be enabled by these tools, but it is not a technology. [Chapter 5 (“Translation”)]
