Well, the meeting has adjourned, and you are packing up to leave. You are all finished, right? Of course not. Now you have to follow up on the meeting. Don't forget to:
□ Type up and distribute the notes from the meeting. Make sure that everyone who attended the meeting gets a copy as well as anyone who is affected by the outcomes of the meeting but didn't need to attend.
□ Plan to follow up on your commitments. If you said you were going to do something, make sure that you add the task to your to-do list and do it!
□ Plan for a follow-up meeting to make sure that commitments are being upheld and the purpose of your meeting is being achieved. Also the follow-up meeting will point out if any new problems have surfaced that meeting participants need to solve.
□ If you distributed an evaluation form, review the comments. Resolve to make improvements as needed.
