Simple Sensor with Sleep Project > Configure Your End Device XBees
We’ll continue to use CoolTerm and an XBee Explorer USB adapter to set up the radios. For each of your sleeping end device sensor node radios:

Select an end device XBee you’ve labeled with an “E” and place it into the XBee Explorer.

Plug the XBee Explorer into your computer.

Run the CoolTerm program and press the Options button to configure it.

Select the appropriate serial port and check the Local Echo box so you can see your commands as you type them.

Click on the Connect button to connect to the serial port.

Type
+++to go into command mode. You should receive an OK reply from the radio. -
Select the same PAN ID that you entered for your original simple sensor network.
