MoLeNET Research Approaches

MoLeNET involves many projects working with the common goal of supporting and improving teaching and learning through the use of mobile technologies. The projects vary in terms of their size and focus, involving learners from different subject areas, studying at different levels and working in various locations. The projects procure mobile devices based on their specific aims and objectives, and use these technologies to support teaching and learning in ways that are appropriate and relevant for the teachers and learners involved. It was evident that a context sensitive approach to the research element of the MoLeNET programme was necessary, and practitioner led action research was chosen as the main research approach.
