Customizing the Menu Bar

Like toolbars, the Menu Bar can be customized to store commands you use frequently. When you make a change to the Menu Bar, the change becomes a permanent part of the application and is not a specific change to the active project file. Changes to the Menu Bar are stored as part of the global.mpt file.

In Project 98, the Menu Bar acts much like the toolbars. By default, it's docked at the top of the screen, but like toolbars, it can be moved and docked at the side or bottom of the screen or left floating in the middle of the screen. Additionally, the ways you can customize the Menu Bar are very similar to how you customize toolbars, described earlier in this Hour.
