Installing the Net Folders Add-in

In order to share a folder as a Net Folder with other people, or to access a Net Folder that someone shares with you, you must have the Rules Wizard and Net Folders add-ins installed on your computer. The Rules Wizard is normally installed automatically when you install Outlook. The Net Folders add-in, though, is not installed automatically.

To check whether you have the Net Folders add-in installed, open any Information viewer then open the File menu. If the File menu contains Share, you have the Net Folders add-in installed. If the File menu does not contain Share, you don't have the Net Folders add-in installed.
