Creating Links Between Tasks in Separate Projects

Links can be easily created between projects. One method is to link tasks of one project together as the predecessor or successor to a group of tasks in another project. For example, a detailed landscape project cannot begin until the home construction project is completed and the lot is cleaned of construction debris. If you need to monitor the construction project’s progress in order to efficiently schedule your workforce, you might want to link a group of tasks. Another way to accomplish this is to link a single task from one project to a single task in another.
