This is one of que's better books. The writing is clear. The instructions are easy to follow. The book size is convenient.
The concept of linking videos in the text is good but
(1) the cognitive load and cumbersome typing of long reference numbers were not thought out by the book designer.
(2) their sole availability on the web forgets that some of us are at remote locations where the internet is too slow. There should be a way to buy a CD/DVD with them
What could be improved next edition?
1. some of the screen shots are difficult to read where the background is grey/blurry. Again not the fault of the author
2. more information about what are the available and additionall templates. After all that is the simplest customisation. The extra pages in a useful book will not matter
3. A summary chapter on troubleshhoting, pitfalls that brings together the advice from the author throughout the book. Again a few pages all together would make it easy to know where to look when things go wrong
I hope the publisher and author take these as constructive critisisms to make a good book better
It is much better than the Microsoft Press onenote book.
