You can check for new email manually or automatically. To check automatically, you need to define one or more schedules. A schedule specifies the circumstances under which Outlook will check for new mail, accounts that will be checked, and when the checks will occur. In this section, you’ll learn how to manually check for new mail and on an automatic, repeating schedule.
