Using Task Notes Liberally

In addition to adding tasks and creating a WBS with outline characteristics, one other item can help you as you add tasks: using task notes. You can use them to remind you and your team members of the task completion details and help you keep the task names a bit shorter. To add a note to a task, just follow these steps:

1.
Click on the task row for which you want to add a note.

Right-click so that you see the drop-down list in Figure 3.27, and select Task Notes in the list.

The Task Information dialog box will display with the Notes tab selected. Here you can enter specific information about the task as shown in Figure 3.28.
