Photography Establishing a Photographic Family Take the time to select a family of images that works well together. Your lazy compet- itors will grab the first image that shows up in an image search, so invest the time to pull together wel-thought-through concepts. Photos should work as a cohesive system, as if the same photographer took them all. Notice how both columns of photos have the same subject matter, but the second column looks like a family of images. They have similar lighting and color tones. Consider also the content of your photogra- phy. Two hands shaking in front of a globe? A group of nondescript people smiling over a laptop? These situations do not happen in real life.
